Die Alternativ-Rock Band Can’t Swim – Chris LoPorto (vocals, guitar), Mike Sanchez (guitar), Greg McDevitt (bass) und Danny Rico (drums) – wurde 2015 in Keansburg, NJ gegründet und hat mit ihrer EP »Death Deserves A Name« in Szenekreisen sowie der einschlägigen Presse für Furore gesorgt.
Sein Bandprojekt berschreibt Chris LoPorto folgendermaßen: “Things aren’t going to get better. Not everything heals with time and problems don’t just go away. Problems haunt you, infect you, and in time become a part of who you are. You might find ways to distract yourself or try and forget but every time you look in the mirror you’ll only see reminders of what you hate. Evil surrounds us and in time, becomes a part of who we are. Let this band be a reminder of that.”
Im November 2018 veröffentlichte die Band dann ihr aktuelles Album „This Too Won't Pass“ auf Pure Noise. „This Too Won’t Pass“ ist ein Album, das von Leuten gemacht wurde, für die Musik alles bedeutet.
